Do you need help?

The best way to contact St. Vincent de Paul Society for help is to call our Social Service number at: (208) 734-9143 and leave your name, phone number, and a brief message as to your needs. A representative will call you back to set up an appointment. It is most important to have your phone with you at all times. If you do not answer the Representative will continue on and call the next person on the waiting list.

The best ways for people to help make the following services more available is by volunteering their time working in the store, donating gently used items and monetary donations.

What we help with:

There is no application for rental assistance, however there is an interview process that helps us understand your needs and help in a meaningful way.

There are limits to the help we can provide. If we cannot help you fully, there are other entities that can help: Mustard Seed, South Central Community Action and La Posada.

The Prescription Assistance Program assists our neighbors in need obtain medication they are unable to afford. No one should have to choose between medication and other necessities.

Many pharmaceutical companies provide medications free of charge to those who meet certain qualifications. Each pharmaceutical company has its own set of criteria that applicants must meet to qualify for their programs.

We help clients navigate through each pharmaceutical company's process.

Application materials and enrollment in the Prescription Assistance Program are free. We do not charge any fees associated with obtaining, completing or submitting an enrollment application.

Some of the criteria required for this program are:

Must not have private health insurance or Medicaid
Must meet specific financial criteria
Must be under the care of a licensed prescriber
